Individual therapy is a process of self- exploration and understanding. Sessions are facilitated by a specially trained Mental Health Clinician at Nirvana’s center or at client’s home. The purpose of individual therapy is to provide the patient with a safe environment to understand and examine various aspects of his/her life and learn how to build new and healthier relationships. Working together to overcome obstacles and increase their wellbeing.

Psycho-social Evaluation

This assessment is performed by a licensed mental health provider. The clinician will evaluate the patient’s mental health, social status, and functional capacity within the community. In this assessment your clinician will focus and evaluate your mental, physical, and emotional health. Based on the patient’s perception of self and his/her ability to function independently in the community/socially.

Psychiatric Rehabilitation

This assessment is performed by a licensed mental health provider. The clinician will evaluate the patient’s mental health, social status, and functional capacity within the community. In this assessment your clinician will focus and evaluate your mental, physical, and emotional health. Individual Therapy Benefits

To be eligible to receive our services, an individual must meet ALL of the following criteria:

  • Be 18 years of age or older.

  • Have a current behavioral health diagnosis of a severe mental illness such as; schizophrenia, major mood disorder, psychotic disorder, schizoaffective disorder, borderline personality disorder, not limited to other mental illnesses previously not described.

  • Have Full Medicaid.

We understand that getting your insurance questions answered is important. We can share which insurance plans we work with, but not what is covered, co-pay information, or other details – since those vary from plan to plan and change regularly.
